A safe
caring and supportive home where substance abusing women, of little or no means,
can rebuild their lives......
-
We
agree that throwing money at a problem isn't going to make it go
away. That's why we are dedicated to helping women who are
having a difficult time in their lives, get back on their feet,
learn some living skills and have a chance to blossom as
self-supporting mothers, wives and daughters. These women
deserve an opportunity to change their lives. We believe
"there are no disposable people" and every time we help a woman, at
least fifteen other people (children, husbands, parents, employers)
benefit. Oasis offers a safe environment, nutritious meals and
a 24 hour on call staff who provide addiction education, counseling
and caring. But, we can't do it alone. We need
your help.
-
The
majority of our clientele have no resources what so ever.
These persons are referred to The Department of Social Services to
receive financial aid. The aid received is minimal.
-
No case is
a failure, each stay prolongs that persons life.
-
Funding
will be directly applied to provide and maintain service for the
Treatment Program in the form of housing, food, utilities,
transportation and educational supplies.
-
Licensed
and certified by the state of California, Oasis does not receive
governmental funding, yet its clientele is predominantly homeless.
Relying on individual donations and fundraising activities, Oasis
has housed, fed and clothed more than 1500 women since 1991.

Please, help
us make a difference
